As you probably already know, the 60GB version was built with the Emotion chip which gives it backward compatibility to play PS1 and PS2 games. They don't make these anymore because it is not cost effective for Sony to do so. As you can see in the pictures below I bought 2 of these systems. I got one for myself to enjoy, as you can see in the open system, and the other for resale. I've actually had these for over 6 months as you can see by the date on the receipt. I've been really lazy so it's just been sitting there. As you can see in pic number 2, both boxes are missing the UPC label. They were removed for rebate purposes. The irony is that I waited until the last second to send the rebates out and ended up not getting the rebates. Do you see a theme going on here? Anyway, the system that you will be getting is brand new and factory sealed as you can see in one of the pictures below. I've never opened it and I have no reason to. The one that I'm using now was also factory sealed and it was perfect out of the box as it should be. As part of the auction, I'm throwing in 2 BONUS items for FREE.
